Shira Ukrainitz

Shira Ukrainitz, born in 1990, is an illustrator, animator, filmmaker, and graphic designer currently residing in Madrid, Spain.

Shira has directed several short films, including "La Prima Cosa" (2021), an animated documentary that premiered at the Annecy Film Festival and earned her a nomination for the Goya Awards for Best Animated Short Film. Her debut short film, "Confined Spaces" (2019), was a French-Spanish co-production and screened at festivals such as DocAviv and Seminci. In 2023, her film "Biological Invasions: The Case of Ovis Orientalis Musimon on the Island of Tenerife: The Last Mouflon" premiered at the Krakow Film Festival and Seminci Film Festival, embarking on a successful journey to numerous other festivals worldwide.

Shira's involvement in various productions showcases her versatile skills in animation and design.
